Four-year olds wear their heart on their sleeve. They love to express emotions, explore and experience their big world. Their friends circle is bigger, plays are more imaginative and animated, storytelling and listening to stories for sure, becomes their favourite activity. They count, sing and rhyme all day along. With stronger motor skills they jump, throw and dance or draw, colour and paint with confidence
These important milestones in a child are invigorated in our Kindergarten programme where belongingness is the backbone of the curriculum. We understand that every child is unique and learn differently, hence, our classes are centred on UDL guidelines. Our centre and concept based learning where children move from one centre to another allow teachers to use flexible approaches to teach concepts. This makes learning inclusive and transformative.
The programme fosters and caters to various facets of learning to stimulate the child’s thinking, social-emotional, physical, creative and language development besides incorporating life skills, awareness of nature, being independent and confident. The child at this age has a natural attraction for language and Hindi is introduced giving them another medium to express their thinking and interpret their world. This year is packed with actions and accomplishments!
